Jan Robert Leegte (1973) has been making art on the internet in the form of websites since the late 1990s. In 2002 his focus shifted to introducing digital materials into physical exhibition spaces, thereby bridging the world of online art and that of galleries and museums.

He also makes offline translations in prints, sculptures, installations, drawings and projections, connecting them to various historical art movements such as Impressionism, Minimalism and Land Art.
